我一切都很好，大家都對我超好的,班上的泰國同學主動要教我文法
學校雖人少,但有人情味,越來越喜歡這學校了
上週我將皮夾忘在洗手間,竟然有位女生找到我,
在我還沒發現前送回給我皮夾,讓我很驚訝!!
還有我電腦前陣子中毒死當需重灌軟體，
也是一位台灣學生（已在唸研究所課程）幫我的
所以我真的慶幸我是如此的lucky，就只能衷心感謝大家嘍!!
Q:學校整體環境如何？
1.學校很小，只有一棟三層樓的建築，沒有校園/綠地及餐廳。
2.學生聯誼或休憩的場所，是在一間大教室內，共四台飲料及簡單食物販賣機，備有微波爐及烤麵包機供學生熱食物。
3.學校備有電腦室及影印機提供學生使用。
4.圖書館在附近另一處辦公廠房內，走路5分鐘可到。
5.City U位於Bellevue，離其市中心車程只約5分鐘，搭公車的人下車後約走12分就到學校。

Q:學校的教學方式如何？課程安排內容大約是甚麼？
*Listening & speaking~老師會出討論的主題，在家自行上網找相關資料，隔天在課堂上各自發表並討論 因人數少，所以有很多講話的機會。
*Writing & Grammar~~依照課本進度上課
*每天上4小時/一週5天，由二位老師各負責二項課程，每週都會考試
Q:喜歡學校的教學方式嗎？喜歡課程安排內容嗎？或有那部分要改進的?
1. 教學方式可以接受
2. 學生人數少故會併班上課，我們班只有4人，卻是三種level混在一起上課(2~4)。人少老師很容易叮人
Q:假日都做哪些娛樂活動呢？(如旅行或參加任何活動)
1. 我都自己跑去Seattle downtown 閒逛，西雅圖市區公車多且路線簡單易懂，市區內在06:00~19:00時間內搭車都是免費的
2. 暑假期新生人數少，學校辦的活動好像都沒有成行(例:帶新生遊Seattle、國慶日看煙火、Bite of Seattle festival等)
Q:學校最吸引你的地方？和需要改進的地方？
1. 學校吸引我的地方:離我借宿的地方很近
2. 收集其他台灣學生會申請到City U 上課的原因多為：托福分數不是很高，希望能快速進入研究所課程，只要依序修完ESL的第6 級課程(很容易過關的)。
3. 據已正式上研究所的學生說，他們晚上課程的同學，有不少是當地上班族再去進修，所以談論的內容都很有深度及實際經驗。
4. 希望改進的地方:併班不要跨太多level混在一起上課。
Q:語言課程的學生大概有幾人呢？都是哪些國
我們班只有4人，二人台灣人、二人泰國人，另外一班(level 4 & 5)也才5人
Q:其他值得分享的事情或需要改進的事情?
1. Bellevue附近房價及物價均高(公車每趟離峰2元、尖峰2.25元)，學生住宿成本貴，若要便宜一些則會住的較遠
2.學生人數少，留學生無法培養或擴大人際關係
Great for someone working full-time and going back to school

I earned my masters degree from City University. The location and class availability was perfect for me because I work full-time. I was able to attend classes in the evening and be home by 9pm. Sure, the classes can be long but it is worth it because you only go a couple of nights per week. You can also take classes online if you wish and take proctored tests in the City University library. Most of the instructors were good and the grading was fair for the most part. I had a dispute where I was given a 3.9 and with the points I had earned it should have been a 4.0. I went to the head of the department and the situation was addressed and corrected immediately, so I was pleased with that.

I was very happy to attend WAL because the instructors were very helpful as well as the director and advisor. Even though I only attended WAL for three months, I really felt that my English ability developed a lot. That was because everyone helped me so much. There were many difficult assignments I had to do; however, I succeeded. The director was so kind to me in assuring that I could succeed. I was so shy when I first started and so frightened but the calmness of the director in explaining things to me and taking the time to speak with me about my concerns made me feel so comfortable at the school. Also, my instructor was always there for me to explain many things. I also enjoyed the many student activities that WAL arranged before and after class. The student advisor helped me get into the college and choose a major. Now I will graduate from college with my AA degree this March with great confidence all of which was developed by the caring people at WAL.
